Hi there this is Jaylene. I was finally able to look at the web site. It is absolutely wonderful to see what people can and have done for these magnificent creatures we call ‘horses’. I feel I have been given a gift from my wonderful boss Steve Wilson, to have forwarded your email and site to me. The Voice For The Horse has wonderful stories and endings with gracious photos of these animals. I am very intrigued by what I have seen.
Right at the moment we have 9 horses, except one is a miniature stud. I have had horses my whole life, because of my father, whose passion for these loving creatures goes above and beyond what I ever imagined. Although my father has passed on recently, my love for horses will never end. They are my friends and companions, especially on a bad day. They calm the soul and warm the heart.
I am very excited to have been given this opportunity to visit your site and see what else goes on out there and to witness the many people who stand up for these animals. I look forward to contributing a heartwarmer story of my marriage on horseback soon! Will be in touch! Thanks again.

I had the pleasure of meeting Angel when she first arrived here in BC. She was then, and continues to be a truly beautiful horse inside and out. I hope through her stories and many others that we may help other horses like her destined for a life of pain and suffering. She got an incredible second chance at life here and Yvonne has done an amazing job transforming her from a scared young filly, to a thriving and personable young mare. I hope her life is filled with so much joy and happiness!

I also want to let you know how proud we are to have both Angel and Little Chief under our care and to have this opportunity to sponsor you with the VFTH project. YOU Paid It Forward for my horses back in 2003…you will remember Classic and some of the other horses we had that needed the massage and healing work that you provide for horses. You showed up day after day as time would allow and even taught us how to use your Equi-Stim Leg Saver on Classic’s sore feet, leaving us with your equipment and gear to use daily when you could not come. We know that Classic certainly appreciated this, especially by the way he would dote on you when you worked with him! I look forward to joining up with you as a board member for the Five Sails Equestrian Foundation; I am certain more good work will be coming our way!

I spent a few hours this morning reading about your life & all the amazing things you have done & are doing to help horses! I hope I can help you with all the noble projects you are progressing with? I am from central Canada, an area where compassion for horses is still not accepted so I try to stay under the radar for now. I have taken home rejected thoroughbred race horses in lieu of pay when I worked at tracks as a second job, just to be close to these majestic creatures. I try to continue doing that in other ways now, (maybe more future discussion?). My deepest condolences on the passing of your, Jimmy ~ Five Sails! I have gone thru that so many times ~ it's always too soon!
