Horses - Looking For New Homes

If you have a horse that you would like to have featured on this page that is looking for a new home, please email us with details and a photo and we will do our best to help you out. One bit of insight I will offer you at this time is that you need to be thinking about the home the horse is going to and being able to follow up on the care of the horse. A great article that I recommend everyone to read that is looking to place their horse into anothers care is A Word on Helping Horses, Rescues/Rehabilitations and the SPCA

New Stride Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation Has a fine selection of  thoroughbred horses on their web site that are currently available for adoption! If you are interested in a particular horse, please contact the person specified in the horse's description to arrange a visit or get more information. Please note that they often have horses in the program who may not be up on the web site yet. If you want to adopt a Thoroughbred but don't see a horse on this page that interests you, please contact to ask about other horses in the program who are ready for adoption! Thoroughbreds can become a rewarding and successful partner for your equine endeavors and give you great happiness. A Thoroughbred is not for everyone, and if you are considering adopting one, it is important to understand them. Please read the section on Adopting a Thoroughbred to find out if a Thoroughbred is the right kind of horse for you! They also ask that all potential adopters understand New Stride's adoption process.
