My husband Steve and I met 5 years ago at a trailer park we both resided in. The first year we met he got into the horses with us. Steve comes from a potato and beef farm in Idaho and had horses most of his life. He had purchased a horse from a friend of mine for his daughter. Since then we have acquired several and have watched trainers in seminars and have just has a lot of fun with them. After Steve became my husband!! he came up with a ranch name for us: ‘Double Bar B Ranch,’ this came about from our last names both starting with B’s. So two years ago we looked to purchase a home with horse property and luckily we were able to find an acre in the middle of the city. We had decided this would be the place to get married and on horse back! After our move to the new property and settling in abit, I had one month to plan this wedding!! As you can see from some of the photos I sent you the wedding turned out awesome!! I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. All of the guests were fascinated with my dress and how calm and quite the horses were.
In the group photo, this is my daughter on the right and in the middle and Steve’s daughter on left of middle. My oldest daughter is standing on my other side and Steve’s son is standing on his other side. In the last group picture is my other daughter and one of my grandsons. The gentleman on the horse across from us was our city judge on his own horse. Between having the great weather and the City Judge on his own horse it could not have been more perfect! A day I will always remember!
