If you have unique equestrian products and are seeking distributorships, we invite you to contact us for your opportunity to have it marketed through Voice For The Horse Consulting
In 2007, At Ease Natural Scents was initially launched and embraced and loved by many who were introduced to this fine product line. Due to this near three year sabbatical taken to develop Voice For The Horse Consulting (the most unexpected of projects I might add!) we are pleased to announce that this all natural botanical personal care line developed for both horse and rider will once again be made available for online purchases. As well you can expect to see Voice For The Horse Consulting representing At Ease Natural Scents at up and coming trade shows in 2010!
We have continued on with our personal use of this handcrafted product for our horses and ourselves and are very pleased at what we have found. Although they are recommended to use within one year of purchase due to no chemical preservative additives, we have found many of the products as good as new due to proper storage and handling.
The At Ease Natural Scents web site will be updated to re-launch the product for online sales however if you are interested in purchasing beforehand, please contact us and we will make arrangements to get the product to you. Please be mindful that because the product is handcrafted we do not store volume inventory on our shelves, so as to always ensure you the freshest made products as possible. We invite you to visit the At Ease Natural Scents web site to learn more about this first class personal care line developed for both you and your horse, in mind!
Voice For The Horse Consulting is also pleased to let you know that Yvonne is game and ready to return to the field of horses where she provides massage, aromatherapy and much more to keep your horse living the robust lifestyle he is meant to live. Yvonne is available by appointment in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Please visit her web site here At Ease Horse Care
MESSAGE FROM THE SPIRIT OF THE HORSE
You seeth not what stands before the eyes,
It is time that you spoke for us,
We need your voices,
We take heart that many are awakening to our needs.
We are united as one.
We sing the song of the spheres.
We ground your beings into the earth
And through us we connect you to the stars.
You wonder why you feel good when you touch us - lean into us.
It is because we connect you to the stars.
See us - we sacrifice ourselves to your blindness,
And never give up hope that you will awaken,
And we will be released from our suffering.
Our ancestors had more hope.
Some of you see the sunrise when you ride us - feel the trees.
But how many of you feel the stream of light that flows
Between us when we carry you on our backs?
Our connections breathe life into your lifeless bodies.
See us once again as brothers.
We are here to serve as mirrors - so that you, mankind
can find your way back to the stars.
to the source that serves for us all.
Our molecular structure is one.
Know your power, mankind.
When you see us as one with you,
then you will know your strength.
We love you - We are one with all beings,
We are a vehicle for that knowingness of Oneness.
Hear ye the cries of the rooster,
Mankind must awaken,
He may no longer sleep.
- Linda Tellington Jones

Willie:
Willie is now 25 years old and a little short on teeth, but he has been quite a sire, his most recent accomplishments include a world champion working hunter, and a filly that just won the baby green hunter championship at Thunderbird in Langley B.C. Willie is by Reds Hustler and out of Sheza Grand, he should have been a big 16 hand horse, but instead he might be lucky to make 14.2 hands. He consistantly sires size and quality, and has crossed really well on T.B. mares.
His owners loved him dearly & were very proud to stand him at stud. This year it was decided that they could no longer keep as many horses & a new stallion was moving up to take his place so he needed to be given to a new home. We have gladly taken Willie and will look after him for the rest of his years. It took a few days for him to adjust to his new surroundings but is now happily eating up all his groceries and lets everyone know this is his place.
Page :
Page is a lovely 16+ hand mare, she has had 4 foals, 3 colored and 1 solid. She has lived with Willie for many years now and it was decided that they should not be separated. Page was bought as a weanling show prospect, but she only got to show a couple of times as a yearling, and then her ankles started to give her too much grief. It turns out she suffered from a mineral deficency before she was born, and now rocks on her ankles, the left more so, but oddly enough the mare travels sound on them and they don't seem to bother her at all, they just don't look quite right. This mare has just a super disposition and is very happy living with Willie.
We invite you to meet Fraser who is featured on Kid's Corner

Our Horses Of Today
Horses in our lives today are no longer being noted as our beasts of burden, rather they have taken on a new role in many peoples lives. Horses have paved our way to freedom as we know it today and have once again reinvented themselves for us into yet another serviceable role. Although horses are still playing active roles in competition and sport, many horses today are being noted for their special gifts of helping people and are used for therapeutic riding, equine facilitated therapies and more ~ today many horses are even being noted as Teachers!
Because of the dramatically changing times and the difficulties many horses are enduring today, partially due to the economic turndown, Voice For The Horse was created to help support horses with the purpose being to promote all it is they do for us! It does not matter the sport in which they excel or if they are just a pastured friend, we are here to promote the horse, the industries in which they serve us but most importantly of all, to help make a difference in the lives of horses who have been put at risk due to neglectful and abusive handling and other misfortunes. Whether you are a horse owner or not, we warmly invite you to wonder through the pages of our web site to enlighten your hearts further about your love and appreciation of the horse!
Mission
To speak on behalf of the horse by educating and promoting a sound equestrian industry that does not inflict pain or suffering upon the horse. Voice For The Horse Consulting supports individuals in good standing who take in horses at risk to whose care they are entrusted.
Vision
To encourage a strong and healthy relationship between horse and humans where we are accountable as their caretakers, to recognize the inherent needs required to facilitate healthy horses in the domesticated environments we provide for them, so that many less will fall prey to abuse, neglect or other misfortunes, including those which are of ignorance.
Mandate
Through education, networking and promotions of the equestrian industry, we seek to increase awareness of how horses are now choosing to interact in our lives as opposed to the time when they were considered to be only our beasts of burden. Through this effort we aspire to improve the lives of many of our trusted equine companions that continue to serve and partner with us today.
"You are responsible forever, for that which you tame”.

Voice For The Horse commits to help all our wanted unwanted horses one life at a time.

The arrangements were that I would be moving onto the property within a month. I started packing up my home contents the next day; I was excited and looking forward to moving out to this beautiful 25 acres located in the heart of Langley. There were several individuals that were going to stay on as boarders as well that also committed to helping build a proper fence line to secure the horses; their presence was very much invited as this was a first for me living on such a large piece of land on my own. As it ended up, these individuals did not stay on and I found myself with a tremendous amount of work ahead. To challenge an already challenging situation, Angel picked up Strangles just days earlier from some horses that were brought in as new pasture mates where she was prior to moving to our new home. It did take time to get through all this however I managed along with the horses, most certainly Angel being of great concern to get through this trying time together. Prior to having the fence line work completed Mischief had several walks off the property only to break back in near our barn where dinner was waiting; then he would find his way back to Angel in the pasture by going through to the neaighbors property again, down the fenceline and cross back over to ours! He enjoyed this time away from Angel; I am sure he delighted in eating her evening meals that would be set aside for her in the barn; a nice mash ready to go! There was even a day that Angel took me to where Mischief was well, kind of stuck. I had called for them to come in for dinner and there was a no show ~ I had already noted the disaster left behind in the barn. Mischief was stuck in a swampy area in the neighbors property with some undesirable wire around his shoulder. Angel took me to him when I finally found her way down the pasture fenceline. Angel did not want to leave him alone unattended down there and I am sure and was looking out for him. This was an amazing experience to witness how one horses was looking out after another in trouble. Angel is a lead mare though and we saw right away as a young filly she had these qualities and responsibilities to her herd. The shelter never did come as promised so I have had to get real creative here and make room in the shed area...I am sure the two horses will love to be practically inside the house as it is really close to my back door! It has been a lot of work to get things set up here and I most likely would not have taken the property had I known that things would have been so difficult but hindsight I believe it all happened for a reason; I am pushed in a big way to move further and create more, which doesn't seem to be a problem for me The property has been for sale for many years and I am understanding that it may be sold in the new year now which means another move on the way so if anyone hears of a nice spot that can take me and the two horses, please let me know. I have promised both Angel and Mischief I would never part from them with the powers to be behind me so the commitment is in place!
Voice For The Horse is pleased to formally introduce Vernon Groetchen as a new Associate of Voice For The Horse. Vernon has been involved with VFTH since Day One when Angel first made her appearance in our lives in the spring of 2008. Vernon has dedicated much time behind the scenes and has supported all VFTH trade shows along the way.
Vernon lends his experience and expertise in sales and marketing and over 30 years expereince in the horticultural field. As VFTH launches into business, his support and knowledge of this industry brings on a new style for the marketing of equestrian concepts and wholy compliments Yvonne's trade. Given Vernon's many years experience of also working with the Ministry of Children, makes him a perfect fit for working in the field with horses due to his ability to connect and relate with children and young teens whose lives are not stable. His willingness to invite Angel, his first horse ever in his life when most men his age would be looking to upgrade to a new model BMW, shows a dedication second to none for the pleasures one receives when engaging with horses. Vernon is presently learning natural hoof care trimming and has taken several equine massage courses.
EAD (Equine Awareness Day) Team Leader's
We are presently seeking EAD (Equine Awareness Day) Team Leader's that are interested in helping to coordinate events in various areas across North America and beyond, in particular, highly densed and populated areas where we have many Equine Specialists practicing their trades. If you reside in a less densly populated area please know that we wholeheartidly invite you to join up with us as well and get increased business exposure for your business that ALL will get when they are aligned as a participant for this event; one that could potentially change the way the world sees, views and understands, our horses! Please contact us for more information on how you may align and become an EAD Team Leader in your area!
Please note that a big part of the target market for EAD is for those that live in cities or towns and do not have access to horses in their lives but are still one of the many horses lovers of the world. This would include the corporate world, inner city kids, media participants that are interested in providing exposure for this very important cause to clubs and associations that would be interested in sending a representative to an event in their area, where they may bring home what they have learned to their fellow associates. Of course we encourage horse loving horse owners to partcipate as well and in doing so are also invited to submit their letters to EAD Facilitator's where they have an interest to learn what it is that they are teaching. No one is excluded here! |
