Empowering children with varying abilities to be their best
Alderegrove, B.C. ~ VTEA is a registered volunteer-based charity that provides therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults of varying abilities. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our riders by improving their physical, mental, and emotional well being with the help of our wonderful horses. The poem, I Can!, by John A Davies sums up what our special children gain through our programs. The volunteers who assist our riders find a great deal of satisfaction in seeing the outstanding benefits that therapeutic riding brings.
The VTEA Riding Centre is located among rolling fields on 256th Street in Aldergrove just south of the Fraser Highway. There are woods on the property with trails that stimulate the senses in a variety of ways. Lessons are ongoing and we have some of the best Instructors and Volunteers that therapeutic riding has to offer.

Voice For The Horse is pleased to introduce you to Cheyanne Little, a 14 year old girl set out to change the world for horses that suffer, endure pain, are neglected and worst yet sent to slaughter. Parent and Teachers: Children of Cheyanne's age are very familiar with what is happening out there in this hard side for horses, at least the ones that are involved with horses, they can not help but to know today. Our children living in suburbia are not so well versed and we understand this. Our intent with Voice For The Horse is to gently share with those that may not be so well versed, however in no way do we wish for children to see some of what Cheyanne has seen and been exposed to at her young and tender age. However, we feel that Cheyanne may inspire you to support our common cause and our why at Voice For The Horse and share with children in your lives the free learning opportunities in the fine arts and writing projects that we are bringing forth as a Registered Foundation. At the bottom of this web page you are invited to visit a Special Section for Parents and Teachers. This is a hard place for many to visit however it gives us our purpose.
Click here to meet Cheyanne and learn about her efforts to stop the abuse and inhumane slaughter of horses.

The horse has been through many experience's with humans and to touch on a big part of why Voice For The Horse exists today, we have created a special web page for your viewing which depicts another part of the equestrian industry you may not be familiar. It is designed for educational purposes for our more mature audiences. We hope you appreciate this new learning awareness you will find. To further express why people like Bo Derek and the many others are supporting a movement of compassionate care for horses we have created a web page dedicated to this subject.
