This was our first adventure with our newly re-united Flat Stanley Character. In 2010 two young boys from Calabassa Ca. U.S.A. sent up a Flat Stanley Character as part of a school literacy project and part of the adventure this little cut out figure was setting out to do was meet Voice For The Horse at our booth at the Mane Event in Chilliwack at Heritage Park. With part of our mission at VFTH to forever "bridge the gap between horse and humans in our modern day world" it came to us this was the perfect tool for us to connect to those outside the horse industry who love horses. Today we have fully suited our own custom Flat Stanley and have even given him a name; it is Freedom! People love to learn about this little character and everywhere we go it gives us the perfect opportunity to connect with those within our own community who love horses and want to learn more and connect more with them! In fact he is such an attention getter we decided to give him a title at Voice For The Horse and Freedom is now our Public Relations Figure (pardon the pun!)

We were quite saddened that "I'll Have Another" did not run. On the contrary here though at the end of the day my famous last words were "I'll Have Another" after a day of toting a flat piece of paper about creating smiles with people wherever we connected!

| Flat Stanley meets Helena and her daughter Ashleigh over lunch! If it were not for this by chance meeting and asking to get a photo with Stanley, we otherwise would not have met! Ashleigh and Helena now regularily visit me at the farm and connect with VFTH Mascots Angel and Mischief ~ true friends they have become! |

| Here we have the Equi-Stim Leg Saver Guy Gary Desroche! What a total sport Gary was this day as he entertained me and introduced me to many beautiful people and horses in the shed rows! Thanks so much Gary! |

| I will take this one home hands down! I fell in love with Queechee and seems he has an affinity to our Flat Stanley Character too! |
 |
| So Stanley made it into the Winners Circle, what a hoot this was! I love the matching hair color Stanley chose to sport this day, matches the young race horse! |
 |
| We did not want to miss the opportunity of getting our photo taken with George Royal - a true sport he was too! |
 |
| Flat Stanley and the beautiful Zenyatta!! What a way to end a day full of adventures! I truly was ready to have another! |
