VFTH Challenge August 3rd, 2012 - September 30th, 2012!!

The Executive Director of the Voice For The Horse Foundation has been put to the ultimate challenge! In order to create more exposure for our fundraising efforts to get our International Theme Song recorded and to create awareness of our newly launched non-profit organization right here in our local and neighbouring community, Yvonne Allen is committing to begin training for the Surrey International Half Marathon on Sept. 30th, 2012!

Once a runner (in a previous life before VFTH!) Yvonne is once again tying up her shoe laces and set to train the necessary miles to complete the 13+ mile run! The body is not quite in the shape it once was after five years sitting at a computer for the most part however she is a strong believer we can regain good health and it only requires the mindset to do so and some good genetics don't hurt either!

To support Yvonne with her challenge, Equine Massage Therapist and Trainer Ann Turner will be sponsoring Yvonne with her massage services to ensure her half marathon is completed successfully. Joining Yvonne in her training runs from time to time will alternate taking either VFTH Mascot Angel or Mischief as they will also benefit with a little bit of extra exercise due to the excess summer grass available to them 24/7!
